Author’s Note
After updating the computer lab of the SLA, a Department of Sindhi Informatics” has been established which could work for the Sindhi system and programs for the electronic media. This department, in compliance with the decisions made during a meeting with the federal organization NADRA, initiated to work towards fulfillment of the suggestions and has compiled a standardized Sindhi keyboard, Sindhi Code Plate and a Collation Order of the letters of the Sindhi writing system. The entire package was then sent to NADRA at Islamabad for formation of Sindhi software. It was also sent, through the Secretary, Culture Department, Government of Sindh, to the Chief Secretary of Sindh so that the Sindhi keyboard layout, Code Plate and Collation Order prepared by the Authority may be accepted and a notification be issued to that effect. The completion of this package has facilitated the formation of any kind of software for the Sindhi Language.
