To overflow, to become fat or bloated; to re-open (as a wound).

Manners, etiquette.(lit. rising up and sitting).

To be indifferent (as a trader).

اَڪ ڪَارا ڪرڻ

Lit: to convert the white milk of a swallow-wort into black; to do something miraculous (nothing grand). Used ironically e.g.

پڙهي اڪ ڪارا ڪيائين= پڙهي گهڻو سوجهرو ڪو نه ڪيائين or ڪو نه پڙهيو

اُڪلڻ

To come out (as a word from the mouth.).

ڳالهائڻ نٿو اُڪلي

Cannot speak.

اَڪن ڇڪن

Charmed, fascinated, enamored, mad with love.

اَکُ

Lit: The eye. The bud of a plant; any small indentation or spot (as on dice).

اَکُ اُٿڻ

To have a sore eye.

اَک بُري ڪرڻ

(1)   To have an evil eye.

(2)   To wish-ill

Connivance.

اک ٻوُٽ پوڻ.

To be dead drunk.

To twinkle, to blink, to wink rapidly.

اک ڏيکارڻ

To threaten; scowl (lit; to show one’s eye), to harass, to torment.

اَک ڊيگهه ڪرڻ

To watch anything unnoticed, to be unmindful.

(1) To rise (sun). (2) To bud. (3) To harm a person; e.g.

ڪنهنجي اکه ڪڍڻ سٿري، پر وجهڻ ڏکي

To repeat an incantation for the cure of sore eyes.

To fall asleep.

اک ميري ڪرڻ

(1) To have an evil eye (on a person). (2) To show a little anger e.g.

پڻس اُتس ڪڏهن به اَکه ميري نه ڪئي

اک ۾ رکڻ

To have an eye on; to keep watch (upon a person); to have in view.

اَک وِچڙائڻ or  وَيڙهائڻ

To gaze, lovingly at each other.

اَکين سان

With great pleasure, willingly.

اَکيون چرخ ٿيڻ

To become astonished.

اکين تي رکڻ

To accept with pleasure.

اَکين تي پردا چڙهڻ

To become blind; to have no due regard or consideration for elders etc., to have no sense of shame.

اَکين اڳيان ڦِرڻ

To have ever before one’s eyes (in recollection).

اک نه ٻڏڻ

To take no notice of; to consider as of no consequence.

اک ۾ ٿيڻ

To covet.

اکين کان وڏو

Blind.

اکين ۾ دِيد ڪونهيس

He is shameless; has no regard for others.

To throw dust in the eyes; to deceive.

To wait expectantly for some dear one.

To do a thing carelessly; without thought or anxiety.

اَکيون رت ڇڏڻ

To become enraged.

اَکيون ڪَڍي نهارڻ

To stare (at).

اَکيون هيٺ ڪرڻ

To become abashed; to hang down the head in shame.

اکيون جاءِ ڪر!

To die; to transfer, to alienate.

اَنجامي ڪوڙو

One breaking promises.

(آءٌ هن جي) اندران پيهي نڪتو آهيان.

Double-faced, deceitful, a dissembler. Mr. facing-both ways.

اندر سڙئي کي اڳڙيون وجهڻ

To hide one’s grief or failure.

اندر ڪارو آهي or  اندر ۾ ڇڙيون اٿس.

He is evil-intentioned.

آندي نيندي تي آهن

They are of moderate means. They live from hand to mouth.

اَنڌ پنڌ

As you are going; at the same time.

اَنڌ جي گهوڙي تي چڙهڻ

To be totally blind to consequences, etc.

اُنڊ گنڊ

In a bad manner; in a mess.

آنڊا ڪلوُس ڪلوُس ٿا ڪن

I am very hungry.

آنڊو

(=اولاد) offspring.

آنڊا گجيون

The interior, secret, (lit. trail of a fowl, etc.).

آنڊي جي ڄَر

Paternal or maternal feeling.

آنڊي ۾ ٽانڊو

Friction among near relations.

آنڊي گوُنڊي گڏيل

A near relation; kith and kin.

آنڙيءَ مان ڪانڙي ڪرڻ.

To make a mountain of a mole-hill. (آنڙي  a sty; ڪانڙي a small arrow).

انصاف وٺڻ

To appreciate, admire.

اِنعام اِڪرام

An honourable gift; rewards and dignities.

اِنعامي جلسو

Prize distribution ceremony.

اَنگ اُگهاڙو پَيٽ بُکيو

Naked and starving; one in a wretched condition.

اَنگ پَيٽُ

In figures and words, chapter and verse.

Inseparably together, ever at hand.

(He is) not wanted anywhere (said of a perfectly useless fellow).

اول فول بڪڻ

To talk rubbish.

اِهو ماس اِها پياس

The very same.

اهڙو جهڙو

(Obtaining) without purchase.

Visiting the sick, or enquiring about them.

To be confused, perplexed; to be at sixes and sevens.

He has ill-treated all; or misbehaved towards all.

ٻٻيوُن مُنجهائڻ

To confound.

ٻَٻرن کان ٻَير گهرڻ

To wish for something impossible.

ٻِت ٻِت ڪرڻ

To stammer, to falter in speaking.

ٻُٽ ٻَڌڻ

To tie a cloth round the head, ears and chin.

ٻُٽَ ڏيڻ

To check, to silence.

ٻِٽَ ڪرڻ

To couple.

ٻُٽي ٻَڪري در تي نه هئڻ

To be a pauper or penniless.

ٻِٽِڻ مچڻ

To have profits coming in at once from two sources.

To make bare (ears of corn, as birds do).

To do something creditable or praiseworthy; to be active, to show courage.

ٻَوڙ ٻوڙان

A deluge, a general inundation.

ٻَوڙو   گهل

Stone-deaf.

ٻوهي ۾ وجهڻ

To involve one in misfortune. (ٻوُهو a calamity, a misfortune).

ٻئي تال مارڻ

To have both ways; to play a double-game.

ٻئي ليکي

From another point of view; moreover, besides.

ٻَئي اکيون برابر ڪرڻ

To have an equal regard for, to be impartial.

ٻَئي جهان ويس

(Lit. he lost both the worlds) derived no benefit whatsoever.

ٻِيٽَ پوڻ

To understand, realise. (ٻيِٽَ  idea).

ٻيجاري ڏيڻ

To put one to trouble, by not fulfilling one’s promise.

ٻيڙا ٻَني لڳڻ

Object to be fulfilled, desire to be gratified, to succeed.

(ڪنهنجي) ٻيڙي ٻوڙڻ

To ruin one.

ٻيڙيءَ چاڙهي ڦڙهو لاهڻ.

To deceive one by false promises.

ٻيگهي مچڻ

To gain on both sides with little labour; to have a capital opportunity.

Said of a short distance.
